Internet Access

Whether your Internet access requirement is for multi user office, home office or outreach workers, Worldwide can provide high speed always on Internet access providing the quality of service today's fast moving e-business environment demands.

Dependant on your office location and budget, Worldwide offer a variety of ADSL options from 512k up to 24Mbps using either IPStream or LLU technologies. We satisfy ‘wires only’ requirements right up to ‘fully managed’ solutions inclusive of pre-configured ‘plug & play’ router provision - freeing up vital resource internally.

ADSL (Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line)
Fundamentally, ADSL provides a mechanism for delivering cost effective internet access for businesses who connect to the internet in a relatively passive mode – a higher speed direction for the "download" from the Internet, but not needing to run servers that would require bandwidth in the other direction.

Dependant on your office location and budget, Worldwide offer a variety of ADSL options from 512k up to 24Mbps using either IPStream or LLU technologies. We satisfy wires only requirements right up to fully managed solutions inclusive of pre-configured ‘plug & play’ router provision - freeing up vital resource internally.

SDSL (Symmetrical Digital Subscriber Line)
SDSL has the distinguishing characteristic that the data flows at the same speed in both directions i.e., symmetrically. SDSL is used in business situations where connecting machines or networks require high bandwidth in both directions, LAN interconnects or file and database synchronisation/back up, for example.

Dependant on your office location and budget, Worldwide offer a variety of speed & contention options from 512k to 2Mbps and 10:1 to 1:1 on both IPStream and LLU technologies. We satisfy ‘wires only’ requirements right up to ‘fully managed’ solutions inclusive of pre-configured ‘plug & play’ router provision - freeing up vital resource internally.

DIA (Direct Internet Access)
DIA Lines provide you with un-contended access to the Internet where bandwidth is fixed in both upstream and downstream at any time of the day.

Typically, we would offer DIA Lines at either 2Mbps, 10Mbps, 25Mbps, 50Mbps, 100Mbps or 1Gb Bandwidths. We can also provide 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1Gb Bearers that can be throttled to the smaller bandwidths. This enables you to easily scale up to the bearer speed should you need to in the future.

As well as having the capability to reach much faster speeds, DIA lines also differ from ADSL & SDSL in that they come with a full service level guarantee with 24/7/365 fault rectification. Whilst more expensive than ADSL or SDSL options, businesses who critically require continuous Internet Access would naturally opt for a DIA line.
